Bleach I understand 1 year maybe 2 and thank goodness because the manga jumps around way too much for my liking but the story is good. Naruto, I am sorry, but I have to disagree with anyone who said in the next 3 years. I say this because Naruto is not fully matured and fan service demands full maturity. Yes Naruto will defeat Madara and may fight sasuke but what then you ask? How about Hokage Naruto. Okay, so you say when he becomes Hokage the series will end, I think not, that just brings you to a new chapter in the Naruto series, no more shippuden something else maybe. In my opinion the characters of Naruto are extremely developed and most are beloved. Secondly, there is a revolution to consider, yes war is a revolution and defeating Madara would bring such a thing to an end, but what if that is not the revolution that is being talked about. I don't know, i also get angry if you tell me one of my favorite series will end soon, so i am biased. One piece, not for a very long time. There is just so much going on and so little space per week to enlighten that I don't think it will end any time soon, look at Hajime No ippo, over 900 chapters, and still the main character is not on the world stage yet. Naruto: Shino for his understated Strength. Rock Lee, because he is Rock Lee. Konohamaru because he is mini naruto. One Piece: Luffy for his Stupidity. Smoker, we don't see enough of him. Fairy Tail: Natsu, stupidly strong. Gildartz, I think he is an older version of Natsu. Master, because he is the master. History's Strongest Disciple: Apachai Hopachai, because he is awesome. I know not real reason, but can't explain, just like him. Hajime No Ippos: Makanouchi, because of his story and kindness even though he could mess nearly everyone up. that is all i can think of at the moment. ME LIKE MANGA |

Just so you know, I kind of like fantasy, more so than most. I like the idea of magic, I like the idea of medieval times, when people thought of magic as something mysterious and actually believed in it. But I have a lot of western views on the subject, unlike the east where they have their own views. But the one thing that always bothered me about most magic mangas and shows and things of that nature was that not everyone could use it, and that it required some incredible amount of ki/life energy/magic/mana/etc. This idea always bothered me. It also bothered me that there was only one way for most people to achieve a certain effect, such as casting a fireball you had to say the incantation the proper way and move your hands in the proper course, or have the sacrifice to do so. I am not saying that these things don't balance the idea of magic, but to me it just seemed off putting. How did someone figure out the incantation or the way you were suppose to move your hands?? This enough of an intro to my idea of a manga? Well then here it goes: My name is Asher, I live in the world of Brin. In my world there is magic, both good and evil, light and dark, compassionate and ruthless. It is not know why, but here everyone is born with magic. At the age of 5, the magic manifests itself by marking the child, often with its affinity over the heart. There are literally hundreds of affinities in this world, and new ones that had never been thought of before will appear throughout the world. The reason for this is, the type of magic a person will use is based upon the imagination of the child within their first 5 years of life. However, you can also imagine that there are some rather silly affinities out there, considering the cumulative imagination of 5 year olds. Yet there are also some basic ones, such as elementalism, which uses the elements as its base of magic, fire, wind, water, earth, ice. But there are also those who have magic such as laughter, which the person can use to make the other person laugh. I on the other hand am a body mage. I can freely manipulate my body to do what I need it to do. But I did not get to this point all on my own. In Brin, all children, once they receive their affinity are required to go to school where they can learn how to harness their magic. But this is not normal school where they teach incantations, spells or what not. School is a place where they teach each student to be able to use their imagination to figure out uses for each persons affinity. What use is it to be able to make people laugh if they are trying to kill you? This is where my story begins, in what I called school and others called the Academy Magi. ME LIKE MANGA |

1) Naruto 2) One Piece 3) Fairy Tail 4) Hajime no Ippo 5) Bleach That is in order, Katekyo came close but the beginning took to long, like fifty chapters before actually getting into the meat of the story. Eyeshield 21 is also great but it is completed, so I didn't put it up. There are some other korean mangas (manwhas) that I like as well but then the list would be like a top ten rather than top 5, and we all know that we can only have five  .ME LIKE MANGA |

This is just a theory, but if you remember, Ichigo never had a normal zanpakuto, they just said that it always remained in the second stage of zanpakuto. But what if that was the first stage of his zanpakuto, and his bankai is actually the second stage of the zanpakuto. Making his transformation into getsuga his actual bankai, and the reason why he fainted in the end is because he is not use to using his actual banka? Just a theory, let me knwo what you think. Do you guys remember how Aizen became A captain in the gotei 13, it was because a previous captain was promoted to another plane, it was only mentioned once, but it stuck out to me. It means that those who become more powerful then captain level in the gotei 13 could be recruited to this new plane. I don't remember what the name of it was but I am pretty sure it was something like a royal guard or other. It could be the Ichigo gets recruited into this or something similar. This is just a theory, what everyone said prior to me writing this also has some level of believability. My idea is a little far fetched I would say, but it could happen. ME LIKE MANGA |

It is back, It is back, it is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't tell that I am excited, then let me tell you I am excited. Problem with this chapter is I want more, not appearance of Zoro is annoying, but I can deal with it. All this chapter did to me was make me want to build a time machine so I can see the next chapter already, I am going nuts! But this chapter was a good opener to the new arc. That is what i believe anyways. Let me know what you think,by the way all luffy got was a scar on his chest, Usopp is cooler, Sanji and his goatee really make him look like a french casanova, Nico looks pretty cool now. Of course Chopper is the same, woohoo, nothing needing to be changed about chopper. No Franky in this chapter unless you count the opening of the poster of them, but still looks decent, same with Zoro. ME LIKE MANGA |

monster soul is seven chapters, was done by the same guy who does fairy tail, Vinland Saga is about vikings, i like it, and vagabond i read on and off from time to time, it is good and pretty gory ME LIKE MANGA |

I like action manga probably more so than the other genres. I agree that it is fast paced and therefor makes the reading and imagery more enjoyable, even though sometimes you have to discern what exactly it is that you are looking at. Anyone got any recommendations for a good action manga that most people have not read. An example: Vinland Saga Vagabond Monster Soul Zombie Powder things most people have not read. ME LIKE MANGA |

If anyone has read the manga just now, like i did, you will notice that on the last page it says that one piece will be going on break for four weeks, that is 1 month, i need my fix. But from what I can tell, they are doing a 2 year jump into the future. I want to discuss, I love One Piece. Do you think their appearances will change? Obviously Usopp's will but what about the others? How do you think luffy is going to look, what do you think is going to happen? This is what I think will happen. Blackbeard will now become one of the Yonku. Usopp is going to become buff. Zoro is going to be all scars, Chopper's appearance will either change or it won't but I don't see why it will, he is too loveable of a character to change. Nami will become older and therefor look the part. Robin's appearance wil be the same I think. Sanji is going to have a weird hairdo or something from the okama way. Brook can't change because he is a skeleton unless he loses his hair. Franky, I have no idea, asides for reattaching his face or maybe putting on a mask from now on, I can't think of anything. Luffy will fill out to have a figure more like Ace then he does now. Luffy and crew will fall off the radar and no one will recognize them in two years, because a lot has happened, or so I am assuming. Luffy will now be ridiculously strong, Zoro will have a sense of direction, asides for being ridiculously strong. Sanji will have a new appreciation for women/men depending on the okama way. Chopper will figure out how to transform into the middle frequency so he can become very strong when he needs to. Usopp will become very buff and have courage. Nami will be a better navigator. Brook will figure out his own fighting style. Franky will have a new way of powering up as well as having some new things stored in his body. That is all i can think of right now, if you can think of anything, or just want to give your opinion, write it in this forum. I want to know what you are thinking. ME LIKE MANGA |

Hello, I have been a long time manga reader and I love it, but I also like exploring other avenues of the written medium. Recently I have come across something called web comics and although I knew they existed before I never really bothered looking because I had manga. But I was wondering what other people's opinions are of them and if anyone has any recommendations. This is just a thought, if you like it or don't like it let me know.
