Yeah, just sign in, go to the manga, and add it to the dashboard as, say, "reading"

When you go to the manga's main page (where it has the summary of the story, genres, all the chapters etc.), it will say something like

"Currently: Reading

* — You will be emailed of any new chapters
* — You last read chapter 32"

In a blue box and stuff. Click the link below that (but still in the box) that says, "Click here to Continue reading" and it will take you to the last page you read/opened. Literally the last one you opened. So, if you were reading chapter 3 page 10, and you accidentally opened chapter 8 page 3, it would 'record' the chapter 8 page 3 as the last page you 'read'.

I just came from mangafox, due to the fact it gave me a virus, and I'm getting nice and settled here on mangable; however, I feel there's one feature mangable's lacking that I'd be really happy to have (and I'm sure I'm not the only one):

Some sort of search or filter.
You know--check/select the categories we'd like to have in the manga we're hoping to read next/find. It annoys me greatly that when we click on categories that we can only search for one category at a time. An example would be if I'm looking for a shoujo-- I'm not a fan of Ecchi + Shoujo. And I might want to have some comedy in there as well.

If there is actually a way to search/filter through these things, I would be very happy if I was told of this. Also, if someone has already suggested this, I'm sorry because I have missed it.

To whoever read this-- thank you for listening to my concerns and suggestions.

My favorite mangas are Skip Beat and Kaichou-wa Maid-Sama, and 1/2 Prince. My favorite out of those three... I lean towards 1/2 Prince.

The first manga I read was Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, I believe. I was wandering about in my library when I made it to the graphic novel section. It was in... 6th grade I believe. After that, I became pretty obsessed. That's about the time I began drawing manga-style as well.

Either Skip Beat! or 1/2 Prince. I'm leaning towards 1/2 Prince, though.

I also like Beauty Pop and Kaichou-wa Maid-Same (another amazing shoujo). I prefer atypical shoujos where the main character has a strong will and determination and not quick about falling in love. Instant love has always been one of my pet peeves.

Also, though I love Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, etc. they so mainstream, it makes me feel weird saying they're my favorite. Then again, they wouldn't be mainstream if they weren't good XD

Like aldrich_lucas, I am also questioning as to why this thread has been posted in the "General Anime" forum.
