 The topic says it all. I've been sitting here for almost fifteen minutes waiting for the picture to stop loading, I just want to know why it takes so long? ;Facepalm; Plus, it's my first time being on here.

 That happened to me as well. If the picture is too big then it just keeps loading [but it won't appear]. Try re-sizing the picture to something smaller.

 Scale the image to 150 x 150 then after you upload it if it opens the image in a new window/tab just close that tab return to your edit profile and click save, then try refreshing or returning to the main page. That usually works best for me.

I agree, even though it says a 1mb size limit and that the images are re-sized automatically, it usually works best if you size it yourself.
