 yeah... after onemanga.com no longer offered manga reading capabilities in august 2010 i went looking for another site to keep track of what i read. so as you've probably figured out already this is the site i found. its been around 8 months since i registered on the site but the intro totally skipped my mind. anyway i'll start by saying i love reading manga and watching anime which i'm sure is a common statement for the intro. by my estimate i'm currently readin round 200+ manga. so that gives you a pretty good idea of the time spend readin manga. i'm also a animation major and my primary drawing style is of course like manga. good to meet ya!!! XD

@ Tib...? - What happened to onemanga.com? I haven't been on there in forever, I'm too in love with Mangable and all the goofs that frequent the forums. Its like my family. But what happened?
@ Jens - You don't really read manga anymore? And you don't draw either? I get depressed when I don't read manga. I feel depressed for you just hearing about it. But did you ever draw? Hasn't everyone tried drawing at least once, even if it was for a lame school project?

 you didn't know www.onemanga.com decided to honor the wishes of certain mangaka (something along those lines) and took the ability to read manga off the site. the forum is still there i think. sometimes i'll space out and accidentally go to onemanga instead of mangable. think that last happened about 2 months ago and manga reading abilities were still down but the forum was still there. also the ability to look at summaries for a series is still there. but yea thats how it is... i think i'll post this and go check real quick.

 That happens when the internet decides it doesn't like the forums. And apparently I have not been paying attention because I didn't even realize OneManga stopped letting people read on it. I know they're trying to honor the creators, but what about the people who can't afford to by the increasingly expensive printed manga? If one manga sharing site goes down, doesn't that mean the others can too?

 yes that would definitly mean others can go down as well. currently its my biggest fear right above spiders. how ever it was the sites creators choice he wasn't being made to do so. however if the creators of other sites feel that what onemanga did was right it could result in others agreeing, which could cause a mass shut down of manga reading sites. but i believe it should be fine if it was gonna happen it would've happened months ago. so no worries.
