 yeah thats what i mean, if it was weekly that'd be fine but having a cliffhanger every month is annoying. also its very popular and not using cliffhanger doesnt mean people will stop reading it, it might mean more people will cuz they got a lot out of that chapter and want to keep reading it next month.

maybe they just like to end with a cliffhanger
