That is in order, Katekyo came close but the beginning took to long, like fifty chapters before actually getting into the meat of the story. Eyeshield 21 is also great but it is completed, so I didn't put it up. There are some other korean mangas (manwhas) that I like as well but then the list would be like a top ten rather than top 5, and we all know that we can only have five

1. D.Gray-Man
I love the story and characters. It's a unique story, and really addictive. I think Hoshino Katsura is an amazing Mangaka, and I love her art work. I'd have to say my favorite character is Cross. Than...maybe Lavi, Allen and Kanda.
2. Bleach
There's not much to say...it's just awesome in so many ways. Again I love the story and characters, I don't really have a favorite, they're all great. I love the idea of the swords having their own names and personalities, and they all have their own unique powers and shapes. I think the Zanpakuto's are mostly what makes the story different. Same with the Hollows/Arrancar's. Again, I love Kubo's artwork.
3. Naruto
I mostly only like Naruto because of the Bijuu's/Jinchuuriki's. The Kyuubi is bad*** also. (not sure if we can type certain "words" here)
The idea of the ocular powers of the Hyuuga's and Uchiha's, are what makes it different too. I love Itachi and Jiraiya, and I haaate Sasuke. There aren't many characters that I like..I don't really like Naruto that much, because he's got a major friendship complex. But, overall it's a great Manga.
4. Claymore
I like Claymore, because there aren't many Shounen/Action Manga's that focus mainly on Female characters. I like the characters and story, the art is also great. It must be really hard for the Mangaka to draw this Manga, because of the transformation on the Yoma's and Awakened One's, but somehow he can pull it off. I also like how incredibly strong they are. I love Teresa, she's my absolute favorite Claymore. I think she's the strongest Female out of ALL the Manga's out there. I like all of the main characters, and I really like Irene (former #2 in Teresa's Era) I also liked Riful, I'm sad they he killed her off, especially by Prescilla. (I hate her!!)
5. Dengeki Daisy
What's there really to say?...The plot and characters are great. I love how he mixes in the Humor and Mystery in a love story. He's an amazing Mangaka, his art work is beautiful. I don't like too many Shoujo's, but I loooove Motomi Kyousuke. I loved all of this Manga's.
(It's kind of a tie between Bleach and D.Gray-Man...but since it's only 5, I picked D.Gray-Man first.)
