 I've been reading Hajime No Ippo and it has like 900+chapters and I am reading 815 as I write this. So, I created this topic to see if any one else has read a really long manga. Or maybe just how many you have "completed"

I have fully read 49 different manga with the longest being 283 chapters and the shortest being a 20 page one-shot.
The one with the most chapters that I have ever read is like I previously mentioned, Ippo. But I have not finished it as of yet. What is the longest one you have ever read? How far have you got in that particular story? Or just random stuff I guess. Like maybe how many did you dislike so much as to drop it and why?

 Ok longest series I have read is One Piece with 610+ chapter and still ongoing and the shortest series I read is this one shot manga with I think about 19 pages.

I have finish 100+ series (I dont remember) and I drop mostly koearen drama

 Man, I've started as many as you've finished and only finished half of what you did. I should probably just pick some of the ones that are completed works and finish them.

 The reason I feel sick so I was playing the game Portal 2. I'm so not used it playing games that involves moving around a lot.

I should really stop reading so much manga. I have about 30 manga waiting on the "want to read" list waiting to be read. lol

 The longest series I've read would be Detective Conan and it's still ongoing..

I've read too much manga I can't remember how many...
I might have read up to 100+ of completed series.
I dropped mostly manhwa (mainly coz I can't stand the plot and annoying characters) and some shoujo manga that takes forever to update.
I thought of reading only completed works but I can't help myself from reading those new ones^^. So, the list of manga on-hold are expanding.. hmm.. the list in-waiting are also expanding.. and the list of currently reading never gets fewer although the completed list doesn't really increase so fast...

 Ippo is going to be over 1000 chapters as stated by the creator, but it also might be over 1100 chapters, depends on the appetite of the audience. One piece will keep on going, according to the artist (this is what I read in forums) for as long as their is a fan base. Conan I have never read. I only hear good things about it but can never bring myself to actually pick it up and read it. I continuously read about 30 mangas as they get updated. And if there is going to be a break in some of the more exciting mangas, i pick up a finished one and just try to finish it within that week.

I love completed stories mainly because i need the instant gratification and can't wait for the week or month it takes to view it. However, the ongoing ones that tend to be over 300 chapters normally come to an end rather quickly. Example is Bleach which will be ending soon. Or Mahou Sensei Negima which I think has another 2 chapters or 3 chapters as this post is going up.

But the point of what I am saying, what qualifies as being long, 300+, 400+, or more? I know, very convoluted way of asking this question, sorry.

Maybe it depends on the person reading the manga himself?
As far as I know, once a manga reached more than 20 volume or 300+ chapters, that's long enough.

I don't know what the longest manga I've read is, upwards of 300 chapters though.
