 i doubt that Makarov can survive to a dragon of which even Zeref seems to be scared of. But if something or someone else interferes Makarov may have a chance.

 Wait Makarov hasn't die yet (unless you read the spoilers) but I guess he is living on borrowed time, since the fight with hades. I sorry to say if this sounds cruel but there is a very little chance that he survives a round with the black dragon.

 It looks like the entire guild interfered in the end and i also think that they have only disappeared, i wouldnt be surprised to see the members of fairy tail appearing all over the world.

 well i think that girl (who might be the first fairy tail master) used a secret magic spell to move them to another world or something between the lines
there are three secret magics that fairy tail posses:
1- fairy law the one that makarov used a few times
2- fairy glitter the one that canna used awhile ago
3- (still unknown) which was used to save them from the dragon
these are not facts just what i think
