I love anything that is written by Scott Westerfeld. Also books that have fantasy aspects to them usually are able to keep my interest. I hate books about romance and falling in love, which is weird cause I love romance manga >.<
Sadly i have not read a book in a very long, long time. I like to read though. Fiction is my favorite. I like historical, fantasy, scifi, etc as long as it is fiction. There are stories based of of true events that I have read and thought were good though. I guess I have read a lot of different kinds of stories so I can't really say I have a favorite genre. I just can't seem to find anything to read these days. Maybe I just do not know how to find them? Anybody know any good text-style books I could check out?? Would appreciate some suggestions for good reads.

i haven't been reading any books recently but i have been reading the Infinite Stratos light novel. The light novel has a lot more stuff than the anime. i believe only up to volume 6 has been translated though. Still, if you really liked the IS series than i reccomend you read the light novels. its like reading a regular book but i have no idea if it should be considered as one here's a link if you're interested in reading em.
I generally try to read a variety of books as well as manga, mostly fictional.
I have read a biography or two for school that were ok but havent gone much in that direction except for books by Phillipa Gregory. She bases a lot of her things off figures in popular history but writes it in a format that makes it sound fictional. It is more entertaining.
I tend to select things based on the author, not really the genre. At the moment my favourite authors would have to be Philipa Gregory and John Marsden. The Tomorrow Series are some of the best books I have read in a long time. Really good at creating vivid in the moment action scenes and gets you very absorbed. Also you feel like you really understand the characters.
I would recommend it to anyone
If anybody does want to check it out then the first book is "Tomorrow, when the war began." There are 7 books in the series and then a second series of 3 books after that; "The Ellie Chronicles"
next month I'll be 18
