 Ohhh, well first upload it to a hosting site, (eg http://tinypic.com/). Then, copy the image URL and click on the little tree icon above the posting box. Paste it in the pop-up, and click the post button. Voila!

Here's my desktop now:


It's the same background image as before. The menu on the left auto-hides, but I have the mouse there to show it for the screenshot. Nothing exciting.
