but what if you watch a show like house or something, would you rather have it subtitled or completly dubbed?

i was watchin netflix and the recently added an anime section... so i checked it out and it had soul eater dubbed. so i started watchin. all the voices were ok up until i heard black star and i actually couldn't tell whether the voice was male or female. so in conclusion occasionally i like dubs such as the voices for kaze no stigma, but usually i prefer subs it just seems more natural to me. not to mention usually if kanji appears in subs it will tell you what it means but dub versions such as ghost hound it will not.
It isn't negativity, it's just being realistic.

@ Tbski...? - Blackstar has a annoying voice. I don't like annoying voices. Or super high voices.
When did Netflix get a anime section? How big is it? I've never tried Netflix, I heard the connection is really awful.

I am a Nobody who appears as everybody when somebody speaks my name.
Call my name.
Pull me out of the darkness.
Forget my face.
Let me sink into the light of laughter.

bahaahah.....wait i don't want to be called that?! okay well there many things you can say about dubs to the preferred subs, and mostly on how it is to the experience of the viewer, it also goes to whether or not the viewers prefer the original Japanese voices as to the English american voices they have dubbed over. Another point comes to mind of whether or not the viewer wants to focus on reading the subtitles, that also makes you focus on the animation more or finds it more relaxing using their ears to listen and find it hard to keep up with the dialogue if in subtitles, you have to put these questions in mind when deciding the answer to whether or not you prefer dubs or subs, of course it is a personal opinion of the matter.
