I was just randomly wondering if I had it right or not but didn't he turn out to be one of the good guys? Like he was never really evil just being like a behind the scenes ninja of good or something.

If I got the wrong impression I would like to know so please tell me other people who have watched bleach or read it either way is good.

Spoiler read at your only risk

Gin only stay be Azien's because he wanted to steal the "Dreak Down Shpere". which years ago Azien's underlings stoles Rangiku's reiatsu (who he has feelings for). So in some ways he is a good guy

And for some reason I remember this even though the Azien arc was months ago
Warning: I might fall asleep on the spot.
